Indressing is simply the exposure of almost the whole body to the public, It is a social phenomenon perpetrated by youths in our present generation, this act without reasonable doubt is against the culture of our society but it is quite disheartening that the present generation of youths derived pleasure at indulging in such practice as they fondly say they are trying to blend with the current trends.
Besides,such practice does not conform to the norms and values of the Society.
Indecent dressings is now the order of the day in almost all spheres in our modern society, that you will find it easy to see people dressing in an indecent manner in public places, these menace has eaten deep into our educational sector meant to breed responsible and socially mannered citizens, very common in educational institutions like Colleges, Polytechnics and Universities.
Even in Religious buildings, you see many believers dressed indecently and expose their bodies to the view of the public. Their erroneous belief is that they look more beautiful and attractive when they put on such dressings.
Students no longer dress decently rather they put on bump-short, mini skirt crop top,short dresses and sagging and crazy wears for the guys and these mostly leads to sexual assaults e.g kidnapping rape and all sort of social vices
They call themselves sweet names like the glory of our fore fathers,the light bearer of the society,the leaders of tomorrow etc but they do the otherwise in their manner of dressing.
The journey of a thousand miles begins with a step, to be a leader of tomorrow as fondly called, you prepare both your body and mind, your education should be the gap that will dinstiguish from those in garages and Market places.
An Adage says The way you dress is the way you will be addressed
2 Corinthians 6:14
[14]Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers [do not make mismated alliances with them or come under a different yoke with them, inconsistent with your faith]. For what partnership have right living and right standing with God with iniquity and lawlessness? Or how can light have fellowship with darkness? (AMP)
